FUNCTIONS FOR CONFERENCE MODERATORS & PARTICIPANTS

DLC Conferencing provides the conference Moderator and Participants with the flexibility to control important aspects of the session to ensure best quality and satisfaction every time.

Press		Places yourself on mute
Press		Decreases the talk volume
Press		Decreases the talk volume to zero
Press		Increases the talk volume
Press		Decreases the listen volume
Press		Decreases the listen volume to zero
Press		Increases the listen volume
Press		Decreases the energy level*
Press		Returns the energy level* to its default setting
Press		Increases the energy level*

*"Energy Level" is the volume level required in order for the audio received from the speaker to be transmitted to the other conference participants. This function’s purpose is to compensate for ambient noise.

Functions for Conference Moderators

Adding A New Participant During a Conference Call

This function allows a Moderator to add Participants during a conference in progress. This is performed by the following steps:

1.	Press ** while in the conference to initiate the process. This will remove you from the conference in progress.
2.	You will be asked to enter the phone number of the person you wish to join the conference.
3.	After you have confirmed the phone number, the system will connect you to the invited participant’s number.
4.	When you are ready to return to the conference, press ** to transfer yourself and the invited participant to the conference.
5.	Alternatively, you may press *1 to disconnect yourself from the invited participant and return to the conference alone.
